Saberkas Weekend Night Market is a market that opens in the evenings every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Located at Sarbekas Commercial Center, this weekend night market huge variety of goods on sale, from everyday household items to local handicrafts and jungle produce, as well as dozens of tempting food stalls.
Over 170 stalls in the Saberkas Weekend Market sell vegetables, fruits, sea products, clothes, drinks, satay, grilled fish, BBQ chicken wings and other products ranging from handicrafts and toys available at reasonable prices.
At weekend night, starting Thursday evening, the market wakes up, with music, food stalls and a throng of weekend revelers.

This theatre was one of the three 'movie theatres' as how it was called back then. Miri Theatre was located at the site of what is now Yu Lan Plaza.
Built in 1991, Miri Civic Center functions as an exhibition foyer and amphitheater on the ground floor, holds the Miri Public Library on the second floor, and is a multi-purpose hall for various social functions such as wedding parties, concerts, large conferences etc.
River Road was the name of the road that stretches from the Tua Pek Kong Temple, past the fish market, old bus station (now a roundabout), the old Miri Port Authority Building (now Arcadia Square), ending at the old shop houses of what is now known as the Harbour View Inn building.
Food Pavilion is a large food court located at One TT Commercial Center, which is just off the entrance road to Taman Tunku.
The story begins with a Mr. C.C. (Claude Champion) de Crespigny, then the Resident of Baram, who was the first to record the presence of oil in Sarawak. The entry in his diary, dated 31st July 1882, refers to oil discovered in some 18 wells dug by hand by the local inhabitants.
