Volkswagen Beetle on Roof Miri

Located beside the Meritz Hotel and Bintang Mall building alongside Merbau Road, a bright yellow Volkswagen Beetle usually spins lazily on the roof of a car dealership that has been serving the community for a long time.
This video was taken from in front of the Miri Polyclinic next to the petrol station along Merbau Road.

In the 1920s, these were the years when the Miri field began to decline. Exploration was carried out further and further afield. In 1926 an exploratory team had gone as far as Padang Barawa between the Sungai Seria and Sungai Barawa. Not much attention was paid to their findings then, but now with the Miri field declining the old maps and charts were taken out and studied again.
Within Centerpoint Phase 2 there is a roofed roofed common walkway corridor where one can find many food & drinks stalls and coffeeshops.
101 Commercial Center is a new commercial center currently being built up next to Boulevard Commercial Center. Construction is due to be finished in 2016.
