Miri Square was a shopping complex building, which used to house the San Francisco Coffee House, along with many eateries serving local food.

Royal Mulu Resort was built on wooden stilts above the ground and linked by wooden walkways, the Resort stands on the banks of the Melinau River, in the midst of a breathtaking natural splendor in exotic Sarawak, Borneo.

The Miri Council Multistory Car Park (Bangunan Letak Kereta M.B.M.), built in the early 1990s alongside Miri's first Pedestrian Bridge at Kingsway.

Miri Central is (as of 2016) a proposed commercial area located at the junction of Jalan Cahaya and Miri Bypass Road, in the vicinity of Miri General Hospital, Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club.
