Gloria Hotel and Golden Restaurant along Brooke Road is one of the older hotels along Miri that are still generating a lot of business.
Built in the late 1970s, Gloria Hotel is the first building in Miri to feature with an underground car park. Nowadays the car park and its ramp is slightly on the cramped side for modern day cars, but is otherwise still fully usable.
Golden Restaurant still is a popular restaurant among Mirians for wedding & banquets functions.

Nicknamed "Blue Tears" among the locals, this phenomenon is a sight to behold and has sent many people to the beaches in the evenings.
Boulevard Commercial Center is a township/commercial center located between Miri City Center and Lutong township areas.
In the 1920s, these were the years when the Miri field began to decline. Exploration was carried out further and further afield. In 1926 an exploratory team had gone as far as Padang Barawa between the Sungai Seria and Sungai Barawa. Not much attention was paid to their findings then, but now with the Miri field declining the old maps and charts were taken out and studied again.
The Room is a 4-story inn located at Brooke, with a nice view overlooking the city center intersection of Jalan Brooke and Nahkoda Gampar.
