"Miri Tourism Corridor" at North Yu Seng Road for the whole street where pubs, eatery stalls, cafes, bistros coffeeshops with Western, Muslim, Chinese, Indian, and many more types of foods are available along the stretch for visitors.
There are entertainment outlets aligned along the road from Soon Hup Mall leading all the way up to Permaisuri Mall. The ambience and atmosphere in this 'corridor' at night is just awaiting to be explored.
The area is most alive at night.

To picture Miri when the township came to know oil, we have to project ourselves into a very different past. When the original Shell men arrived, it consisted of 20 scattered houses and a few shops. These included a bazaar, a gambling farm, a pawn shop and an Arab shop. The trade of Miri consisted chiefly of jelutong, brassware, belachan and budu.
This theatre was one of the three 'movie theatres' as how it was called back then. Miri Theatre was located at the site of what is now Yu Lan Plaza.
